Rock ‘N’ Groups

Welcome to Perthshire’s queer clan all with varying interests!
Originally starting as a book group back in early 2022, holding their first meeting at Rock ‘n’ Beauty Salon in Perth, from which the name derives. They have since expanded in a multi-activity collective, of which can be explored below.

Rock ‘n’ Adventures is a group for all adventure and outdoors-based activities, together with people who want to do just that. Starting out in 2023, this group has already hosted numerous taster events such as axe throwing, archery and wild swimming. Alongside this, they have gone out on organised explorations of Perthshire, such as the Glenfarg Tunnels and Devil’s Cauldron, with many more on the list too!

#FridayFreedom is an opportunity to share your own adventures with the whole group through their Facebook and Discord, with a monthly winner selected too. See some of the recent winners photos below!

Rock ‘n’ Books is for all book lovers of queer literature, authors and themes, and all things in between. This group is a great place to discover new reads and share your own too. Offering monthly meets and regular book swap opportunities, both you and everyone else can truly contribute something to the Rock ‘n’ Books group.
The group meet on the last Sunday of the month from 1-3pm at Rainbow Rooms, The Venue, Perth. The monthly reads are shared below. For any questions, please contact the group using the form at the bottom of this page.

Rock ‘n’ Crafts is a group formed in August 2024, for those into all types of crafts and creating.
Those coming along may be into painting mini-figures, digital art or crocheting, or a whole host of other crafty activities.
Come along on the first and third Saturday of the month at Rainbow Rooms, The Venue, Perth between 12pm and 4pm. You can either bring your own materials or there is plenty provided!

Rock ‘n’ Dragons offers a fantastic number of Dungeons & Dragons campaigns, this hybrid group provides regular meet ups, one shots and character development sessions.
They run campaigns either fortnightly or monthly, with an active Discord and Facebook group between sessions too. Session Zeros are advertised ahead of new campaigns, and members are encouraged to join. See below for a sample of the different campaigns currently running.
